There was a time where Tammy supported and represented the ideas of a "classic liberal." She served as the president of the Los Angeles chapter of NOW (National Organization for Women) for six years between 1990 and 1996. But, at what point did she find that the liberal ideas and agenda were no longer the right fit for her.
