Vancouver got their guy in Tom Willander and sometimes safe is the right thing. They took some swings deeper in the draft but overall, not a terrible showing for their prospect pool. We get into the OEL buyout and how it needed to happen to open up any chance of this team being competitive in the somewhat near future. Free agency was a safe space for the Canucks this year handing out very little money and very little term. WE'RE GROWING! Of course, Ryan wants to talk about Andrew Cristall going to Washington and how they got a steal at pick 40.
