“I had been a Lord of the Rings fan since way before I discovered The Prancing Pony Podcast. Little did I know...… well… it turned out I did know little indeed!!
Alan and Shawn provide you not only with explanations of what’s actually written, as tough as it is to read sometimes, but also dive much deeper into the lore and history of the Legendarium. On top of that they do a wonderful job of bringing in real life, other literary works, fun facts, etymology and philology lessons, simultaneous timelines, guest speakers, a lot of jokes and fun digressions, and really lots more than you could ask for.
I could not imagine my life now without all the richness and fun they brought and still bring to my ears and heart.
