“I’ve loved the LotR since childhood (I’m a Zillennial) and always wanted to read the Silmarillion. When I tried however, I often became confused by all the names and felt like I was missing the significance of passages. This podcast helped me digest the story and I was shortly absolutely obsessed. They read favorite passages, discuss words and names, and bring in content from other sources such as Tolkien’s letters and Unfinished Tales. I’m only in the 50s episodes but am excited to continue through The Hobbit and again tLotR. Thank you!”
