It’s really good, but rings hollow being from the Economist
The shows really interesting and worth listening to, I read “Mao” by Jung Chang a few years ago, and this podcast reminds me of a more concise version of that book but regarding Chi. I do however listen to this podcast with intense skepticism because it’s from the Economist…it’s feels akin to listening to a PSA about the dangers of smoking “brought to you by Phillip Morris.” I certainly would not condone anyone supporting the Economist and it’s a shame this show is associated with them, because the girl who put this together did a really great job.

I found this an excellent podcast—good length and very interesting. It gave me a much more well-rounded understanding of China’s leader than I had previously. Thank you.
