Useful insights into the biz of coaching
These podcasts (I’ve listened to two so far) offer a revealing window into the lives and practices of professionals with successful coaching practices, their path, their wisdom, and how the inside-out understanding shaped their practices. I particularly enjoy meeting and getting to know his subjects. Improvements? As I watch/listen to a lot of Jamie’s stuff, I find that I'm more engaged when his guest is speaking than when he speaks. Part of the art of interviews like this is what’s the right balance art listening/speaking—for the sake of getting the most from the subject of the interview. And how to bring the most of of them when they are less than fully forthcoming. When the interview talks too much about themself, it’s no longer an interview. Which raises the question—what’s the difference between an 1/2 hour interview and 1/2 hour of shop talk?

Just listened to my first Jamie podcast - fantastic. What I'm hearing overwhelmingly is how we overcomplicate things and then often miss what's important. Thanks Jamie!

I love the way Jamie synchs the value of impact a coach can have in the lives of clients with the need for the coach to also be completely supported in the process, including financially. It's a breath of fresh air in the transformational world.
