Subject matter knowledge
The intent is honourable, but given the lack of true subject matter knowledge - case in point rentvesting episode, with no discussion of capital gains tax and replacement costs impacts, not to mention the well known risks of underperformance when buying new or off the plan, instead just quoting “I trust” the selling agent from the investment property company. These are all classic signs of lack of deep subject matter knowledge and experience in this space. Understandable given both host aren’t estate agents or Qualified Property Investment Advisors QPIA’s. Keep listening if you want general knowledge, but please keep a look out for richer knowledge from those with proven and years of experience in this space.
