“I came across this podcast during a wilderness season where I felt like an outcast in the church. I was having a crisis of my faith as I found it hard to interact with the God of my bible with the people in his church. When I listened to this podcast it felt like home. I realised I wasn’t mad or abnormal, but perhaps me feeling uncomfortable in the traditional church was for a reason.
Jonathan is so authentic and is a stickler for biblical truth. He’s not shy about being vulnerable about his weaknesses and sharing his journey in his spiritual walk, which is a huge breath of fresh air as there’s a lot of spiritual performance, judgement and religion, which can be so alienating. I always feel at home when I listen to an episode and it’s a huge source of encouragement, inspiration and an encounter with biblical Jesus.”
