“When I got my first job, my dad sat me down and taught me the envelope system. He also took me to open a Roth IRA. It was the early 00’s and my parents had just paid off their house after being all in with Dave’s first book.
I had spent the years before being forced to listen to the Dave Ramsey show on AM radio in the car while my dad learned the ins and out. 😆 Needless to say, when Rachel became involved it was a breath of fresh air. Finally, a younger gal with a dad like mine who got it but still understood the very real want to shop.
Rachel Cruze seriously made it all that much more reachable for me. She puts her spin on everything while remaining true to the method and I love her so much for it.
So of course I still listen to Dave, but now I also love listening to Rachel. She’s like the big sister that has her life together, but she can still tell you what you need to hear. I love her podcast and will always be thankful to the Ramseys (and my dad) for showing me the way.”
