Learned a lot
I thought I knew a lot about this album, but this excellently researched review has taught me a lot more; notably the real reason why the Kinks were kicked out of the States. I suspect the caster has paid insufficient attention to the 2 Preservation albums though. These are not easy, but are to my mind an update to the Village Green Preservation Society. Shepherds of the Nation, on Act 2, in particular gives an update on this special interest group, which is modern and thoroughly unpleasant.

Amazing each episode of this podcast can be researched and written in only one week, it’s very well done. Not to be locked into one or two musical genres, the host obviously cares about music spanning many decades, and covers them with love. Tight!
