Jason Fox is a former British soldier, TV presenter, author and mental health advocate. This episode Radio X Mental Health Tool Kit sees us looking at depression. Jason will talk to you about the signs, his experiences of depression and where you can find help if you feel you need it. CALM is one of the many organisations that are there for you. You can talk to them from 5pm to midnight every day on 0800 58 58 58. Their professional helpline workers are there for you to talk to and help finds ways in which you can move forwards. Everything is confidential from their helpline to webchats. It’s all free as well. Whilst Radio X is working with CALM, there are many other avenues of support; The Samaritans are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week on 116 123 In the UK you can contact the NHS on 111 or contact your GP for an appointment to discuss how you’re feeling.
