I came out years ago but always watered myself down to make those around me more comfortable & this year when my struggles with addiction & depression resulted in a DUI with a souvenir mugshot on FB, I found myself watering down who I was & what I was dealing with, yet again to make other people comfortable.
Then BOOM...! I became a part of the empire & pretty much simultaneously found your content on TikTok & my mind was blown!! But your podcast really drove it home for me & opened my eyes to how much I had been drowning in my watered down image & it’s been like coming out all over again.
