Nintendo plans to produce more movies based on its video games following the success of the recent Super Mario Bros. movie. Data from the American Social Security Administration shows a rise in baby names inspired by Nintendo characters in 2022, with the most popular being Mario and Zelda. IDW Publishing and Dark Horse Comics are teaming up for a crossover limited series, TMNT x Stranger Things. IDW Media Holdings is cutting 39% of its workforce and voluntarily delisting from the New York Stock Exchange. Marvel's digital comic app, run by Comixology, will be shutting down in June, and new releases can still be purchased through Amazon to use on its new Kindle app. Sony's upcoming Marvel film, Kraven The Hunter, will be rated R and is set to release on October 6. Warner Bros. confirmed they are working on Beetlejuice 2. Amazon has confirmed a two-season order of Batman: Caped Crusader, an all-new animated series from Bruce Timm.
