Listen now
Description
When Black Pumas released their self-titled debut, we had the guys on the show to talk about it. Now, three years later, I spoke with singer Eric Burton about their long-awaited followup, Chronicles Of A Diamond, which is out this week. That conversation was recorded live on stage back in August at the Hotel Monteleone in the heart of New Orleans for RSD's Summer Camp.  Record Store Day co-founder Carrie Colliton gives us another update on some of the releases listed for RSD Black Friday (November 24). Go to RecordStoreDay.com for the latest information on all things Record Store Day. Paul also says a few words about two musical heroes who passed away since our last episode, jazz visionary Carla Bley, and Tulsa's power pop journeyman Dwight Twilley. The Record Store Day Podcast is written, produced, engineered, and hosted by Paul Myers, who also composed the theme and selected interstitial music.  Sponsored by Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, Tito's Handmade Vodka, and Crosley Turntables. Please consider subscribing to our podcast and telling all your record buying and or music loving friends about us, we're still growing and appreciate every single listener.
