Tough Listen
Trying to listen to the draft recap was the last straw. Neither host has much knowledge of the players taken or the information involved in the process, but that is honestly fine by me. Baseball drafts & player development are notoriously niche and difficult to cover. What is not difficult is declining to pretend you know things you clearly don’t know just to fill the air. The Shelly character *clearly* doesn’t know what she’s talking about and it’s painful listening to her patch together & try to pass off as her own knowledge superficial snippets from draft reviews that any of us can google. If you’re going to do a serious podcast, take it seriously. Nobody needs a show where the content is somebody pretending to have a clue about a subject most listeners as fans know well enough to see through the act. In fact, that’s alienating.

Great content, everyone is very knowledgeable and brings a unique viewpoint to the table. Very easy to listen to format!

I don’t mind that, but the ABSURD length of the intro and outro is UNBELIEVABLE. Why do we need three minutes of random noise before we...Read full review »
