“Despite the popularity of Nu Metal in “the thick of it”, I did not have many people to have in depth conversations with about Nu Metal music. I grew up in a small rural farming community in Southern Illinois, I had friends who listened the Korn, Limp Bizkit, POD, etc, but few people dove as deep into the genre as I did. Every episode I listen to is like having a conversation with three friends about the good, bad, and the ugly of genre. I haven’t heard most of these songs in the better part of a decade, but each podcasts brings up so many great memories and a few not so great. Definitely a must hear podcast if you ever liked Nu Metal during its height of popularity.”
