podcast doesn't do the enneagram justice
The enneagram is an excellent tool, however this podcast did not hit their stride yet, perhaps season 2 will be better. If you want to know the enneagram deeper this podcast is NOT for you. It is a supplement. If you do not know the enneagram well enough (knowing what each number is and characteristics of those numbers) then this podcast is NOT for you. They do not refer to what each number is and do not dive deeper into the numbers. It is merely talking to guests about why knowing the enneagram was helpful to them... vague responses that typically look the same over the episodes. Also, Suzanne tends to interject her story and her experiences a lot in each episode, which takes away from the guest, and also takes up a lot of time in the episode. I think maybe the intent is for people to get interested in knowing more about their number and taking initiative to dig deeper on their own. Ian is great at asking wise questions to dive deeper into knowing a guest and their number more, however each episode just does not do justice to what we could potentially learn. Either way it is not something I can recommend to other people or my clients.

I’ve never really listened to podcasts before, but my mom recommended this to me. As a 1 it’s helped me learn a lot about myself.

i love the enneagram, and can't wait to hear what more ian and suzanne have to say in future episodes. however, the podcasts are longform recordings that aren't edited down. they could really benefit from cutting quicker to the chase! also, for context, this is coming from a type 1.Read full review »

I have really enjoyed this podcast as it seems like an easy conversation between friends who are really knowledgable about the enneagram. I have learned a lot so far by listening to their conversations and insight. I will continue to listen! Thanks for taking time to put this together Ian and Suz!
