While You Were Sleeping is a 1995 Romantic Comedy directed by Jon Turteltaub. This is the story of Lucy Moderatz played by Sandra Bullock. Lucy is a very lonely train fair token collector in Chicago. She daydreams of a more exciting life and secretly loves Peter Callaghan, a handsome commuter played by Peter Gallagher, whom she has never actually spoken to. On Christmas day Peter falls onto the train tracks and Lucy rescues him, and after a wild miscommunication at the hospital Peter’s family believes that Lucy is his fiance… all this occurring, while Peter is in a coma.
