“I hope these two podcast hosts develop some self-awareness because this podcast makes them appear very unintelligent. How gullible must these people be that one guy is told about “The Rumor” at a birthday party that they spend the next 10 months investigating it. At what age did they realize that when someone says “I got your nose” that they really don’t have their nose. All it takes is a couple Google searches to find photos of Cal in the dugout the night of that game and the Baltimore Sun writeup of the postponement said that Cal Ripken was out on the field warming up in hopes of a game being played. Even if Kevin Costner slept with the former Kelly Ripken on that day, there is evidence that Cal was at Camden Yards ready to play. Case closed, no podcast needed. And what pisses me off is these two guys are not only attacking Cal but also attacking the character of two other people (Kevin and Kelly) who do not deserve this trash being thrown at them. I can’t believe the Washington Post even promoted this podcast. This did not happen and “The Rumor” is just a made up tale in hopes of finding dirt on Cal.”
