Astead Herndon is great!!
I am sure he had to call a lot of people to get the handful of interviewees for the grassroots episodes, but he had a fantastic mix. And his ability to relate to many different types of people, get them to open up, and ask excellent non-scripted follow up questions puts him at the top of his field as a journalist. Whether on the Run-up, or when he does a Daily podcast, I’m left wanting to hear more from him.
