“This provides good local and statewide news that you won’t get from a podcast like Up First. I highly recommend it if you want to keep up to date with news around Sacramento.
Starting in 2021, though, the briefing is being read by text to voice software that really detracts from the listening experience. It was so bad, I had to turn it off yesterday.
Bring back Joseph and the rest of the team to read the briefings. I like the personal touch from the Bee. Get rid of the robot.”
