It’s an education
I don’t work in safety or engineering, yet I find this podcast an education. I work in cybersecurity as a consultant and currently doing a masters. So I listen to this podcast to a) understand how some of the theories and practice could benefit cybersecurity, since safety is a much more mature discipline which I believe has faced similar challenges, and b) it is a useful resource for helping me with my own studies, reading and critiquing papers, how to conduct research, and how theory influences practice. I listened to every episode over a 4 month period (during runs, gym sessions, dog walks, while cooking etc) so am now eagerly waiting for the first episode of 2023 to drop!
