We can tweak our environment to make the most of our attention and be more productive: we can fine-tune our scheduling strategy, use “time-boxing” and cut down on distractions. It’s easier to get into a “flow state” when we focus on one task at a time without distraction. • Cognitive biases are distortions in our judgments and perceptions, and can undermine our ability to think clearly, especially if they’re unconscious.
