“This podcast series offers insightful information about NGO's accross the world. The conversation piece within each podcast focuses on the fact that it is important for young leaders to understand that Social Entrepreneurship doesn't happen overnight. We have been taught throughout our careers that work should be fast paced. However, starting an NGO requires building trustworthy relationships, understanding local culture, fundraising, and adverstising, all of which requires time. Each podcast incorporates this message in a unique way.
I have been a volunteer with Students Helping Honduras for the past 5 years and I think this series does an amazing job with gaining information from other NGO's about their efforts, how they started, and the struggles they have faced along their journey. Nothing is a perfect system, so gathering information from a variety of sources is important to guage what ideas work and don't work for each organization.
I have learned so much about other organizations through this podcast series and am excited to hear more!”
