The Review: Free the Flag // Shelley Ware

Description
Welcome to The Review! These shorter episodes will be an avenue for us to chat through something our previous guest got us thinking about. This week we wanted to further some of the conversations we had with Emma Race in our first episode around equality and representation in the media, particularly in relation to indigenous representation and the “Free the Flag” movement that was on prominent display during the recent Sir Douglas Nicholls Round in the AFLM. Joining us is the amazing SHELLEY WARE - a TV presenter and AFL media personality well known from the ABC’s “Outer Sanctum” and “The Colour Of Your Jumper”. Shelley breaks down the history of the Aboriginal flag, it’s ownership, and the Free the Flag movement. If you loved hearing from SHELLEY you can catch her on The Outer Sanctum Podcast or The Colour of Your Jumper.
