A COVID Thanksgiving - Setting Boundaries This Holiday
Listen now
Description
This Thanksgiving will look a lot different for many families because of COVID. Many people are not getting together with their families in order to try and stay safe. Some family members may not be happy about that. This has brought up the topic of setting boundaries for yourself. During the holidays many people have family drama and quite often that can be due to a lack of boundaries. Do you agree to host the entire family even though you don't really want to? Do you have to clean up for hours after they all leave? Would you rather not have all those people at your house this year? Or next? Would you rather take turns hosting? Would you be ok with having everyone over if you didn't have to do ALL the cooking? Setting boundaries for yourself is a good thing. Especially around the holidays. This weeks podcast talks more about why it is OK to set boundaries.
