“Engaging yet boring. Calming and slightly silly. Strange but reassuring. As described, meandering, not exciting enough to keep me awake but interesting enough to be entertaining. Amusing enough that I find where I left off the previous night and try (again and again, repeatedly) to finish the story. Takes about a week to hear an entire story. I’ve tried other bedtime stories and end up listening to several of them in a row because…I’m awake. Not with these stories!”
