Friends in My Earbuds
Hello! I’m a new case manager, fresh out of college, in the U.S. and I have to say, I love this podcast. I’ve worked with non-profits for the last 3-4 years, and have come to understand the circumstances surrounding the poor, undersourced work environments. Until I heard your podcast, I felt downtrodden because I thought there was nothing to look forward to in this profession. I thought it couldn’t be as personally fulfilling as I imagined it would be in high school. After hearing the “Work/Life Balance Podcast”, I felt like I had friends or mentors who hace gone through the same struggles as I have. I think that- solidarity and being understood- are priceless. You reminded me why I decided to become a social worker in the first place. So THANK YOU!! I don’t feel so alone anymore and know that countless of other social workers throughout the WORLD also share in my love for this profession, and occasional frustration with the obstacles that come attached with the job. ❤️❤️❤️ God Bless you guys~~

The only problem I have with the podcast is that I want more, and there isn’t more just yet, but I’m looking forward to hearing it! The podcast had me laughing within the first 10 seconds. Despite being in the United States, the content is easy to follow and social work tutor does a great job of...Read full review »
