“Stephanie and I coincidentally sat together on a flight and after I realized she knew so much about food and different restaurants, I asked her to recommended a restaurant to have a late lunch in Charleston. She gave two options and one, in particular, sounded spot on to what we wanted. Leon’s was a compilation of a “dive” and the most amazing and interesting restaurant I have been to on a while. It is an old mechanics garage, turned into a very casual oyster house. I ordered the kale salad and crushed avocado toast and wasn’t disappointed. We had other great dishes at our table, mahi sandwich, Brussels sprouts, hushpuppies and the black-eyed pea salad, which I immediately added some to the kale salad on our waiters recommendation. A five star restaurant in shorts and sandals was the summation of our late lunch.
Thank you, Stephanie for a wonderful decision!”
