2024 CrossFit Games Season Announcement, Drug Tests, FitFest & More!

Description
Originally streamed on November 8, 2023. CrossFit announced changes (again) to the upcoming 2024 CrossFit Games season. While the CrossFit Open is still three weeks, they moved it back two weeks. Then, 25% of all individuals, teams and age group athletes will qualify for Quarterfinals. In 2024 there won't be any "Super Semifinals" like last season. Instead, all seven regions will have 40 men, 40 women and 30 teams. This cuts the field down in North America and Europe while increasing the fields in Asia, Africa, Oceania and South America. As for the Masters, Teenagers and Adaptives, the news is great! More divisions will compete at the Adaptive CrossFit Games by WheelWOD while the field size for Masters and Teenagers will increase significantly. Tyler, John & Spin walk through all of the changes and weigh in on what we like (and don't like) about the changes. We also cover the out-of-competition drug tests that were recently announced as well as trying to figure out what the heck FitFest is.
