Dinesh Palipana OAM is a doctor, lawyer, disability advocate, and researcher. He became the first graduate doctor with quadriplegia to work in Queensland and the second person with quadriplegia to graduate from medical school in Australia. Dinesh is an advocate for medical students with disabilities in Australia, dedicating his professional life to working, teaching and researching health. He is the author of ‘Stronger’' - a memoir that details his catastrophic car accident and how he now believes he is happier, stronger and more capable than he was before the accident.
