The Beast is The Goat... This Is A Good One
Great first episode. Informative, analytical, and down to the numbers/intricate stats that lacrosse junkies want to hear. Those in depth stats and stirring up conversation with guys like Trevor is the special sauce. As a long pole myself, I can see the parallels in the two positions, as both have very black and white stats (most that don’t show in the books), which is: win the possession or not. With that being said I believe that is your goal, to unite the face off position with all of the other ones. You being the greatest of all time in that position, are very capable of doing such a task. I think my favorite line was when you said “People are always trying to change the face off because they just don’t know what it’s like to take one”. Such a line like that tells the NCAA to have a sense of respect for FOGOs, and to think twice before hastily making decisions that alter the preferences of the games biggest stars; altering a craft that it has taken years to master, and would never be a though to change another position. I firmly believe that this will evolve into much more than a face off podcast. Keep being the goat beast.

This is for everyone in the field. I’m an attackman who started playing in the 90s, but I listen to guys like Beast to better understand the roles my teammates play. Beast is a player who sparks and deepens my interest in and respect for the face off. If you love the game, learn more about the game.
