Awe-inspiring
In its literal meaning of inspiring awe for not only the breadth of Melissa’s endeavour but also for its concentrated focus on the local and the present. I’ve followed Melissa on Twitter for ages and am currently reading the Stubborn Light of Things. The Podcast adds another dimension with such immediacy, you can imagine you’re there. I listen often, particularly at times of anxiety, and they never fail to work their magic.

Really enjoyed this podcast, some great content, and the birdsong in it was lovely to hear. Can’t wait for further ones, especially as I’m reading Melissa’s book ‘All Among The Barley’.

Wonderful podcast, thank you Melissa, I am only worried you are talking about 5th October being the last one...I’m not sure we can cope without it!

This aural celebration of our connection with nature has already become my favorite podcast ever. Author Melissa Harrison is a superb guide.
