The ads are part of the story
I loved this! The storytelling is done in a really unique way, and the story constantly took me by surprise. It’s so many things in one; conspiracy theories, 90’s nostalgia, liminality, and a critique of the judgemental and fickle society we live in. I cannot wait for the next season, of which there hopefully is one. I have to add that it’s important not to skip the adverts in each episode. They are actually really important to the story and the storytelling mechanism, and when you get to the end of the season it’s really fun to go back and listen to it again and realise their purpose 😉
