“Wife gone missing 40 years ago. Lots of people wishing they had stepped in. Regret is real and I’m sorry for those people and the secondary victims (family and children).
Re male teachers bedding underage female students: Lots of people saying “someone should have done something”. Let’s get real, no one was going to do anything. Times have changed. Chris Dawson (a sports star, gym teacher, and main character in this story) had A LOT of sex with students, and lots of people protected him by looking the other way. “I believed him” has been said a hundred times.
He didn’t interact well with his peers.... but was very popular with the students. Yeah I BET. Why interact with the adults when they can catch on with what you are doing? He is a narcissist, a classic predator, and it’s disgusting. A teacher with unlimited access to underage girls.
He is still alive. His victims are still alive. His crimes have been documented. Make his story a case study so that at least we can learn from it.”
