Good story but too long.
I found the whole story terribly sad and still don’t understand how Lyn’s family could swallow such an unlikely tale told to them from from her husband for so long. Together with the appalling police work and their hero worship of what should have been the main suspect, due to his history as a top player in the local game, makes my head spin! I only hope the boys club of the 1980’s police force is a bad memory and that the modern police officers have adequate professionalism and training to separate themselves from any personal sentiments or bias to individuals they meet on the job. I thought the podcast should have been a lot shorter and was too repetitive. But great research and investigation.
