“I hate leaving reviews but this podcast deserved far more longevity, recognition and good fortune than it was served.
Clint, Nick and Truly have created what is, to me at least, the perfect podcast. This is no minor accomplishment, not least because: the show isn’t really about anything in particular at all.
If one had to whittle the show down to its two most basic ingredients, one would have to say that it is:
- partly a pastiche of contemporary online pop culture commentary and criticism (and all of that genre’s tropes therein)
&
- partly an ode to the fun and fulfilment that can be had when taking part in the creative process, in particular the brotherhood that can be formed amongst peers as a result, even if the idea that ultimately derives from it isn’t that great.
I would describe the show as a more freewheeling, less existentially cynical RedLetterMedia and would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys that kind of content.
It’s a great shame that the TTA boys had to part ways and shut down the podcast last year but I have found myself listening to every single available episode approximately five times each since the final episode was uploaded and I have found myself laughing at new and previously unnoticed jokes on each occasion. I will likely continue to do so until, God willing, the TTA boys reunite and bring back the show on a weekly basis. 🙏🏼
I wish all the TTA boys (and the Tittens) the very best of fortunes in the years to come. May you live forever. ✌️
Overall, I give this podcast 5 stars. 👍
P. S. Dear Truly, please re-upload the episodes that have fallen out of the feed and consider uploading all of your TTA trove to YouTube where you’ll surely be able to make something from all that frozen revenue just like in nineteen ninety-eight when the Undertaker threw Mankind off hеll in a cell, and plummeted sixteen feet through an announcer’s table.”
