“Recently a friend of mine asked “Who is Esther in the Bible?” Another friend of mine started to answer and I held up my hand “No, no, I’ve got this one.”
It was so cool to be able to share the story of Esther from start to finish including all dramatic flourishes. At points my friend even gasped at my retelling of the turn of events in the story. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so confident sharing that much scripture in similar settings.
I love how Matt follows every rabbit trail you think of so by the end you know the story front to back and back to front.
I do appreciated being able to prove that I earned the ‘Esther Achievement Unlocked’ sticker!”
