Carrie Keller Lynn; Put simply, uptalk is the tendency for some speakers to use an upward inflection on the end of their sentences so that everything sounds like a question. Uptalk or “upspeak” is often associated with the way teenagers talk in Southern California but is no longer limited by geography. Drives me crazy. Knock it off

There’s something about hearing the contributors each saying “ Hi Amanda!”at the top of the podcast which reassures me that we are going to have a update with a point of view but from journalists who strive for accuracy and balance. Tremendous coverage. Roger
