TMI: When Dara Met Audre Lorde
This is the first pod I’ve listened to, but I intend to listen through them all! I grew up a white, third generation European immigrant in communities where almost everyone was ‘like me’, but I always felt isolated because I was almost always the new kid in school. That was not terrible, it was just how it was, but it turns out that racially separated children had very similar experiences to mine. Now at 71, still pretty much racially isolated, I find that here are my un-met siblings!😊
