IDEAL for guitar-driven musicians who like gear and fun!
If music production is part of your life, this podcast is likely perfect for your morning commute. Especially if you create or record guitar-driven music, let these two fine gentlemen keep you updated with the latest in gear/industry news, perspective, techniques of the trade, etc.; you’ll be better informed, with most of your routine research already cut out for you. The show is well structured, but with a casual flow, so it’s much like hanging out and talking gear/shop with your two best friends--as long as your two best friends just happen to be an extremely informed/experienced, guitar-savvy recording engineer and an extremely informed/experienced guitarist, with the chemistry of having shared stages and recorded original music together for several years. They’ve also set the precedent of having occasional guests with unique experience/perspective of their own worth hearing from. I recommend going beyond subscribing—help build community by getting involved; they thrive on feedback, and they’re active on Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Tumblr--you name it! (Seriously, name it if they’re missing something.)

This is a great podcast that covers all news in the guitar-playing community. The two hosts are really funny and always have interesting insight into the topics they cover. GearNerds will love this show.

They give their honest opinion about pedals they review and that includes literally calling things poop. In other words they don't care what people...Read full review »
