Ian spoke of his competition approaches, and his experience placing 2nd at the Parkening International Guitar Competition at the age of 18. As a lecturer at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Ian is a dedicated teacher and spoke of the importance of studying traditional repertoire during undergraduate degrees.
