Compulsive listening for trail and adventure riders. Love it.
I recently stumbled upon the Trail and Adventure Rider Podcast, and boy, was I in for a wild ride - metaphorically, of course, because I was just sitting in my pajamas with a cup of tea. The hosts of this podcast are like the Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson of the off-road world. They embark on adventures that make me question my life choices while I’m stuck in traffic. As I listen to their tales of conquering treacherous trails and surviving close encounters with wildlife, I can’t help but wonder if my greatest adventure is choosing between Netflix and Amazon Prime. But let’s talk about the sound effects. You haven’t lived until you’ve heard the spine-tingling audio of a motorcycle revving up, followed by the triumphant whoop of a rider who’s just cleared a gnarly jump. I swear, it’s almost as good as experiencing it in person - minus the wind in your hair and the risk of wiping out. The guests they bring on are a motley crew of adrenaline junkies. From extreme enduro champions to folks who’ve crossed continents on two wheels, these interviews are like a masterclass in “how to make your own life seem incredibly dull.” And the humor? Well, it’s drier than the Sahara Desert, and I love it. The hosts sprinkle in jokes that are so subtle, you might not catch them until you’re three episodes deep and suddenly burst out laughing in the middle of a quiet coffee shop, making everyone wonder if you’re just a bit unhinged. In all seriousness, the Trail and Adventure Rider Podcast is a fantastic journey into the world of off-road riding, delivered with humor and genuine passion. If you’re a motorcycle enthusiast or just need a dose of vicarious adventure from the comfort of your couch, give it a listen. Just don’t blame them if you suddenly feel the urge to sell everything and hit the open trail.

More reviews of The Trail and Adventure Motorbike Podcast
2 opinionated old boys chatting rubbish about dirt bikes, occasionally bring people in to lecture them about motorcycles too. Basically my TRF group chat in audio form, haven’t missed one yet.
