More than just Trailer Music
I have been sharing Richards insights with friends who don’t work at trailer music composition. The fundamental problems that Richard has had to overcome creating trailer music aligns with so many creative endeavors. And btw, we all have creative jobs whether we realize it or not. The structure of a trailer cue is also the structure you should use to ask your boss for a raise. The art of keeping peoples interest is best learned in the wild where it’s manifested and not where it’s kept in a cage and theorized about.
