“i like the show so far, but we have to stop using words such as “tweaker” and even “addict”. substance use disorder is just that, a disorder. people suffering from it deserve to be humanized and treated with dignity & respect. please practice person first language, such “he suffered from substance use disorder” or “he was a drug user”. people aren’t addicts; they are sufferers.”
