Their reasoning appears to be that these are issues that exist everywhere so don’t really matter. Kids being told that wives have to obey their husbands and can’t say no to sex? That’s pretty damning and I don’t think that’s being taught everywhere. It does reflect a certain world view that can more more associated with Muslim culture (not all Muslims, I am aware).”
