Dr. Shafran received her medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine in 2010; completed residency training in Ophthalmology at University Hospitals of Cleveland/Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in 2014, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology at Rainbow Babies & Children’s (also here at Case Western) in 2015. Dr. Shafran now practices both general and Pediatric Ophthalmology. She is also a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a published author in medical literature with a strong background in teaching.
