Description
Michael, Phil and Ben reflect on the fourth Test between India and England which saw the hosts clinch the series with a now unassailable 3-1 lead. It is the first series defeat for Brendon McCullum and Ben Stokes since taking charge nearly two years ago, so we ask if England are still progressing, especially given the emergence of young spinners Shoaib Bashir and Tom Hartley. Former England seamer Ryan Sidebottom joins the show to offer up his thoughts on the series and to discuss how he would feel being a bowler in the current England setup and the criticism of Ollie Robinson following the defeat. Sidebottom also explains why he believes there is a distinct lack of left-arm seamers available to England right now. We also check in with the Telegraph's Chief Cricket Correspondent, Nick Hoult, who joins us from Delhi. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
