About Ed Squire Ed is the creator and host of The Visible Kindness Podcast and a survivor of childhood sexual abuse. He is also the founder of MeTooWhatNow, a nonprofit organization that helps survivors of childhood trauma and abuse move beyond declaring, “ME TOO” and start living their ‘WHAT NOW’ lives.    On This Episode Ed discusses ‘imposter syndrome’. He shares a recent victory in his life where imposter syndrome prevented him from share the story of how he forgave his grandfather on his deathbed for sexually abusing him as a child. Ed shares 7 steps to authenticity that helped him overcome imposter syndrome. Steps To Authenticity. Make sure you understand it's a process. Take baby steps. Each step will cause you to grow a little more. Surround yourself with people you know that love and care about you and will support you. Why? Because it's inevitable that someone's going to try and beat you down. Know what you are afraid of. Write down your top three fears Start working on #3 first. Know your core values….really know them. Write them down Revisit them often Change them Make them what you want them to be. Know that you're going to fall and you're going to fall a lot. Use your support system. Falling is learning. Falling is not failing. Keep getting up and never stop getting up. Recognize and acknowledge your growth and congratulate and reward yourself.
