“I discovered Killjoys a couple of months ago, not sure how I missed it in it’s original run, as it’s right up my alley with its emphasis on “family” relationships and snarky humor. I am a huge Orphan Black fan as well.
Once I was done with the first viewing of Killjoys, I realized I wasn’t finished with it. I found “The Warrant Is All” and have been listening to the accompanying podcast as I rewatch each episode. It felt a little weird at first, as most of the podcasts I listen to are a conversation between two or more people, but I quickly started looking forward to hearing Mark’s wonderful recaps with just the right amount of detail and his thoughts about the episode. The additions from each of the regular folks who give feedback are always interesting and insightful.
So, thank you, Mark, the rewatch has been even more fun than the original viewing, and I feel like I’m watching Killjoys with friends and we’re discussing it together. It amuses me a little when your theories about what’s going to happen are wrong, but between you and the feedback folks, I’m amazed at how much you all got right. Did I mention that you have a very soothing voice? I also smile each time I hear your Canadian-isms.
I have just started watching The Expanse and have been eagerly listening to “Tales From The Rocinante” as I watch each episode.
